Design Director, Motion Designer & Illustrator

University Girl Magazine – a.k.a. UGirl – is a Syracuse University publication targeted towards college girls who aspire to be “confident, fearless, career-oriented and trendsetting.”

As the Design Director, along with designing University Girl print magazine cover to cover, I worked to engage their audience and increase their outreach on social platforms, specifically Instagram. In doing so, we decided to increase the amount of Instagram stories put out and start an IGTV on the UGirl account. I started a Motivational Monday Instagram story series containing motion pieces with a weekly quote and my original illustrations.

I animated the logo for the magazine’s up and coming IGTV.

Valentines Day Instagram “Card”
I illustrated this for followers to re-share to increase engagement.

Motivational Monday Story Series
I illustrated & animated a motivational quote for every Monday.

I illustrated these icons for the Instagram highlight covers at the time.
